Lisette
Baron is a Louisiana native who presently resides in New
Orleans. Her education includes;
Studies in Cortona, Italy through the University of Georgia in Athens, a BFA from Louisiana State University, and 15 years of work at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC. She has exhibited in Louisiana, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, California and Italy.
“ My inspiration comes from animals and nature forms, biology, psychology, and religious iconography among others. I think that good art should catch your eye, draw you in, and compel you to keep looking at it – even if you don’t want to. It should provoke feeling and thought that transcends the sum of its parts.”
