Baron
is a Louisiana native presently residing in New Orleans.
Her education includes; Studies in Cortona, Italy
through the University of Georgia in Athens, a BFA from
Louisiana State University, and 15 years of work at the
Guggenheim Museum in NYC. She has exhibited in
Louisiana, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania,
California and Italy.
My inspiration comes from animals and nature forms,
biology, psychology, and religious iconography among
others. I think that good art should catch your eye, draw
you in, and compel you to keep looking at it – even if you
don’t want to. It should provoke feeling and thought that
transcends the sum of its parts.”
